Meet Dr. Andrew Schmitzer (Grand Ledge, MI)

Dr. Schmitzer completed undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1999 from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.  He was a recipient for the highest distinction award for his graduating class.  He is a current member of both the American Optometric and Michigan Optometric Associations.

Dr. Schmitzer has owned and operated Grand Ledge Optometry since 2007.  He specializes in family vision care for all ages, including specialty contact lenses, disease management and treatment, and urgent care.  He enjoys having the opportunity to examine a wide range of patients from ages 1-100 on any given day.

Interests include running, hunting, camping, and hiking.  He resides in the Grand Ledge area with his wife, Jennifer, and his two girls.
